At Lidstones we understand the importance of the relationship between butcher and farmer.
In fact, ever since my great, great grandfather began selling local meat from a wheelbarrow in Bovey Tracey,
our family have been either butchers or farmers.
But a close relationship with our producers doesn't just mean that we can tell you where your
meat comes from. It also means that we can guarantee that every mouthful has been reared to the highest standards
of animal welfare and that we have taken the greatest care to develop meat that is succulent, tender and full of flavour.
With food miles also an important consideration, it is good to know that most of our meat is reared in
Devon. With our three shops in Plymouth and the South Hams, you won't have to travel very far either, so why not pop in
and taste how delicious our home-grown meat really is.
